Hello, my Love, and welcome back to The Midlife Edit. Pour yourself something warm - this one’s a softer, slower note.
December feels different these days. The older I get, the more I notice the quiet magic tucked into this month, not the big sparkly moments, but the small ones that ask you to slow down, breathe, and actually be with yourself.
This time of year has become a gentle transition for me - a bridge between endings and beginnings. A space where I take stock of what the year has taught me, release what feels heavy, and make room for what’s next. Midlife makes this pause feel necessary, almost non-negotiable.
And honestly? This behind-the-scenes season has been full of reflection.
I’ve been working quietly on the business, refining systems, simplifying my weekly rhythm, and preparing everything for 2026 so it feels sustainable for my mind, my body, and my health. I’ve been tweaking content flows, restructuring my calendar, and getting my digital products lined up so I can create consistently and gently, without burning myself out.
It feels good. Steady. Calm.
A season of clearing the decks, tying up loose ends, and stepping into next year with clarity rather than chaos.
And before we wrap up 2025, there’s something I’m genuinely excited about…
The 7-Day End-of-Year Reflect & Reset begins on Monday, the 8th, and continues to Sunday, the 14th. This will be the only focus next week: a guided space to slow down, reflect, and reset before we turn the page into a new year. You can read more about it here.
Because of that, there will be no regular posts next week:
All of my energy will be going into holding that space with you, softly and intentionally.
If you’re craving a gentler month, a steadier rhythm, or a moment to regroup before January arrives, this challenge will meet you exactly where you are.

A Note from The Nest
It’s been quiet here lately, the kind of quiet that feels like a blanket rather than an emptiness. I’ve been leaning into rest, early nights, comfort foods, and moving slowly as my body adjusts to the cold and my hormones do their midlife dance.
Khushi and I have been nesting in small ways; rearranging corners, lighting candles earlier in the day, and letting the season shape our rhythm rather than fighting it.
December in The Nest always reminds me of this simple truth:
Life gets softer when you stop rushing through it.
