It’s still early. The moon has only just surrendered to the first threads of morning light, and my tea, my first quiet ritual of the day, is already finished. The house is silent, apart from the hum of my thoughts.
Last night I attended Day 1 of the She’s Unstoppable Summit with Sage Robbins, and I’ve woken up with her words still echoing in my bones. There was one question in particular that cracked me open, one I can’t let go of this morning:
Which part of me do I feel wants to be unleashed? What would it look like if I claimed her? Who is she?
The answer came quicker than I expected, like she had been standing at the edges of my skin all along, waiting for me to notice her.
She is the unapologetic creatrix.
The woman who doesn’t just hold wisdom but embodies it in every breath, every word, every choice. She’s not the one who bends herself into coach, writer, nurturer, because that’s what midlife women “need.” She’s the fire that shows them what’s possible simply by existing in her fullness.
And here’s what struck me: she’s not missing. She’s already here.
The Glimpse
I’ve met her before.
Two weeks ago, while travelling to Norway, I caught a glimpse of her. That day I looked and felt fucking fabulous. Not because of what I wore (though I did love it), but because I carried myself differently. I felt magnetic, grounded, alive.
It wasn’t performance. It wasn’t for show. It was me, simply being.
That day, I allowed every version of myself to exist at once: the soft, the strong, the playful, the sensual, the grounded. Nothing was tucked away. No part of me was shamed into silence.
And for the first time in a long time, I didn’t second-guess. I didn’t translate myself. I didn’t tone myself down.
I claimed space. I owned my presence.
That wasn’t a fluke. It wasn’t “holiday energy” or just a good outfit day. It was proof. Proof of what’s possible when I stop containing myself, when I let her come through.
The Question That Changed Everything
So then I asked myself the obvious question:
How do I actually let her out? How do I stop glimpsing her in rare moments and start living her, daily?
That’s where my journaling last night, and again this morning, took me.
Here’s what I wrote:
Stop translating myself. I often reshape my words so they land “nicely.” I take my truth and make it smaller, softer, more palatable. But the unleashed version of me doesn’t water herself down. If my words are sharp, they’re sharp. If they’re tender, they’re tender. No more bending myself to fit.
Create without apology. Not “content.” Not “strategy.” Just creation. Some of it is messy, some exquisite. Doesn’t matter. The unleashed me knows that the act of expression itself is enough.
Claim desire as holy. For too long, I’ve treated desire like an indulgence. Something to get to once the bills are paid, the house is tidy, and the to-do list is ticked. But the unleashed me knows desire is a compass, not a luxury. If she wants beauty, she creates it. If she wants depth, she leans in. If she wants love, she admits it without shame.
Live in my body, not just my mind. This woman doesn’t just think her way through life; she inhabits it. She moves with intention, doing Pilates, yoga, long walks, and dancing in her living room. She dresses to feel alive, not to blend in. She eats, stretches, moves, and speaks like someone rooted in her own essence.
Integrate my energies. It’s not feminine or masculine. It’s the dance of both. The masculine provides the structure that allows her feminine flow. The feminine brings softness to his strength. They fuel one another. READ MORE: The Dance Between My Light, Dark, and Doing & The Cabin Diaries – Day 9: Balance, Not Battle
Make bolder choices. The unleashed me doesn’t wait for the “right” moment or the perfect plan. She decides. She trusts. She acts. She leaps, even without guarantees.
The Realisation
And then came the question that really shifted me:
If I were her today, even just for one day, what would I do differently?
The answer landed with certainty: I’d feel like Norway-me. Every single day. Not waiting for the stars to align, not waiting for a special occasion, not waiting for proof.
That means outfit checks, even if no one sees me. Moving powerfully, not punishingly, Pilates, walking, stretching, dancing. Looking in the mirror and saying, “Damn, look at you,” instead of scanning for flaws. Creating from that energy, instead of waiting for the “right time.”
Because here’s the truth: That day wasn’t about luck or circumstance. It was about alignment. I looked and felt fabulous because I was carrying myself as the woman I already know I am.
And the only difference between then and now is whether I choose her each morning, or whether I keep leaving her on the edges, waiting.
My Takeaways from Sage’s Training
When we clear the screen in our mind, we open up to clarity.
Whatever we go through in life, it cracks us open to light and love.
When we make shifts in our lives, it affects everyone around us.
Always tap into the essence of your heart.
Your identity is the controlling force in your life.
Whatever you believe you are, you behave as.
Lasting change happens when you shift your identity.
We define ourselves by who we think we are, and who we are not.
When we change our lives, we change our stories.
Nobody ignored me the way I ignored myself.
Growth also requires unlearning.
Sometimes the stories we tell ourselves are more painful than reality.
True grace is not external; it’s when we turn inward.
The Invitation
I write this for myself, but I also write it for you.
Because maybe you, too, have felt her pressing against your ribs, the version of you that refuses to shrink, refuses to water herself down, refuses to stay hidden. Maybe you’ve caught glimpses of her in rare moments: a night out where you laughed until your belly hurt, a morning when you looked in the mirror and saw yourself clearly, a walk where you felt utterly alive.
She isn’t missing. She isn’t “someday.” She’s already here.
And today, we get to choose.
Not waiting for permission. Not waiting for an occasion. Not waiting until the world makes space.
We choose to step into her.
Now.
