Invite:
Today, we begin with the space that cradles you every morning and every night, your physical home. When midlife shifts feel unanchoring, your sanctuary can be the soft tether that brings you back.
Why This Matters in Midlife:
During perimenopause and menopause, our nervous systems become more sensitive. A clutter-free, nurturing home isn't indulgence, it’s a necessity for your peace and presence.
Ritual for the Day:
Strip your bed, wash linens, open windows, and breathe in fresh air.
Declutter surfaces, only keep what you love or use.
Light your favourite candle and spritz your signature scent; give yourself permission to lean into comfort, just by being.
My Story:
Before travelling to Norway, after a particularly restless week, hot flushes, content creation, and demanding deadlines, I reset my space. I washed my sheets, lit a jasmine candle, and suddenly, calling it home felt like a conscious choice again.
Journaling Prompts:
How do the spaces I live in reflect how I'm feeling inside?
What one small shift brought softness or ease today?
Call to Action:
Create your evening sanctuary, then simply rest in it. No productivity needed, just presence.
