Hello, my Lovely, and welcome back to The Midlife Edit.
I’ve been a little quieter lately, and I want to name that honestly. The past couple of weeks have been shaped by a change in my HRT patches, sleep that’s been all over the place, and gently preparing myself for the upcoming 75-Day PAUSE Programme.
This season hasn’t been about pushing through. It’s been about listening.
If you’re not familiar with PAUSE, it’s a 75-day programme designed specifically for midlife women, with a strong emphasis on sustainable movement, nourishing nutrition, mindset, and deep, ongoing support. Preparing for it has required me to slow down, simplify, and tend to my energy carefully.
And that’s been the theme, really. Less output. More attunement.
Behind the Scenes
Quiet doesn’t mean nothing is happening 😉 Behind the scenes, I’ve been pouring steady, focused energy into the Seasonal Magazine, which launches on 1st March. This has been a long-held vision, and seeing it finally take shape feels deeply meaningful. It’s not just a magazine, it’s a seasonal companion. A place for reflection, intentional living, and arriving more fully in each chapter of midlife, rather than rushing through it.
There’s something powerful about creating work that honours rhythm instead of urgency. This launch feels like that. Thoughtful. Grounded. On time, rather than on trend.

A Note from the Nest
Life has been very home-centred lately. My little cosy winter wonderland has been calling me in, hot water bottle, blanket, sofa, and the familiar comfort of Emily in Paris playing softly in the background.
I’ve also spent a couple of quiet hours recently looking back through moments I’d captured over the last five years, photos, memories, small slices of ordinary life. It was unexpectedly moving. To relive those moments. To see how much has been lived, felt, navigated, survived, and celebrated.
It reminded me that even with all the ups and downs, the uncertainty, the grief, the reinvention, I have lived a beautiful life. Not perfect. Not linear. But full. And that feels important to remember in seasons like this.
Winter asks us to go inward, to listen more closely to our bodies, to stop demanding summer-level energy from a winter nervous system. If you’re feeling slower, more reflective, or more drawn to home right now, nothing is wrong. This season has its own intelligence.
Let yourself be held by it.
With love,
Kiran x

P.S. If your body has been asking you to slow down, soften, or simplify lately, consider this your permission slip. You’re not behind, you’re listening. And that matters more than we’re often taught to believe.
