Life has a beautiful way of leading us back to the parts of ourselves we thought we had outgrown. So far, this year has been one of transformation, rediscovery, and embracing change in the most unexpected ways – from welcoming pink back into my life to stepping into new opportunities that amplify my mission. From breaking taboos around midlife and menopause to evolving my work into Midlife by Design, every step has been about creating a life that truly aligns with who we are in this chapter. Here’s what’s been happening…
A Little Bit of Pink
I’m reintroducing the colour Pink into my life this year, but it’s more than just a colour – it’s a quiet, unexpected return to a part of myself I once left behind.
They say that when a woman starts loving pink again, it means she’s healing. But she doesn’t wake up one day and decide to love it. It happens in the smallest moments – the strawberry milkshake she orders without thinking, the old jumper she no longer feels the need to shove away, the way she stops rolling her eyes at rom-coms and lets herself enjoy them again.
Pink isn’t just a colour. It’s a phase of life, a version of ourselves we thought we had to outgrow to be taken seriously, to be strong. But true strength isn’t in rejecting softness. It’s in embracing it without fear.
And in many ways, that’s what this chapter of my life and work is about – embracing the changes that midlife brings rather than running from them.
Speaking at Home, Life & You LIVE 2025
I’ve also been invited as a speaker at Home, Life & You LIVE, on 18th & 19th October 2025 at ExCeL London, where I’ll be talking about Lifestyle Design. Designing a life that truly aligns with who we are in midlife is one of the most powerful things we can do, and I can’t wait to share this message on a bigger stage.
Evolving My Business
With all these shifts, my business is also transitioning. What started as a focus mainly on Midlife & Menopause is now evolving into ‘Midlife by Design: Curating Your Next Chapter’ – helping midlife women create a life that aligns with their aspirations across five core life areas:
Health & Well-Being (including Menopause)
Personality, Character, & Self-Discovery
Relationships & Connections
Career/Business & Finances
Quality of Life (Lifestyle)
Midlife is not the end of our story – it’s the beginning of a new chapter, one that we get to design intentionally, with purpose, joy, and confidence.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey so far. Here’s to embracing change, finding strength in softness, and curating a life that truly feels like our own.
If this piece stirred something in you, I’d love to know.
Tap the ♡ below; it’s a small thing, but it means more than you know. Leave a thought in the comments, even just a few words. Share it with a woman in your life who might need to read this right now. And if you’re ready to go deeper, come and join us inside The Midlife Circle. There’s so much more waiting for you there.
You can also buy me a Match Latte as a small thank you for the work I pour into this space. Every single one is received with so much gratitude.
Mostly, though, thank you. For being here. For reading. For reflecting. For walking this season with me. It means everything to know these words are landing somewhere real x
