Hi đ,
Think about the first ninety seconds of your day. For most of us, the moment our eyes open, our hand automatically reaches for the phone on the bedside table. Before our feet even touch the floor, we have let the news, the notifications, the work messages, and other peopleâs needs flood our awareness. We start our morning already on the defensive.
In Chapter 1 of the book, I share what I call the Anchor Practice. Before you touch a screen, spend two minutes lying still. Move your attention slowly from your feet to your head. Ask quietly: What is my energy level today, honestly? What does my body need from the next few hours?
Todayâs inspired action: Put your phone across the room tonight so you cannot reach it from bed tomorrow morning. Give yourself those first two minutes back.
See you tomorrow for your next Midlife Edit â¤ď¸
