Hi, 😊
I used to think I had to arrive somewhere before I could feel proud. Once the business was sorted, I reached the goal; I understood myself; I had the answer; I became more confident.
But perhaps pride doesn’t have to wait for completion; I can simply look at myself now and say: I’m doing alright, and not because everything is perfect, but because I’ve kept going, changed, learned, made mistakes, begun again, walked away from things that weren’t right, chosen differently, survived days I didn’t think I could, built things, lost things, loved, grown, and most importantly, I’ve become.
And I’m still becoming, and there is something incredibly tender about recognising yourself while you’re still in the middle of the story.
So today, don’t wait until you become the woman you imagine you’ll be one day, but look at the woman who is here.
She deserves some credit too.
Today’s inspired action is simple: write down three things you are proud of yourself for.
They don’t have to be impressive; they just have to be true.
See you tomorrow for your next Midlife Edit ❤️

What Happens When You Stop Waiting to Feel Ready
I think a lot of women spend years waiting for the moment they will finally feel ready.
If something I’ve written has made you pause, think, smile, or see your own life a little differently, and you’d like to send a little love back my way, you can buy me a Matcha Latte.
It helps me keep creating these little moments of reflection, encouragement, and possibility for you. And honestly, knowing that something I’ve written has landed with you is the loveliest support of all.
