Hi, 😊
Behind whom? And according to whose timeline?
We rarely ask ourselves this when we are young; we simply move through life. Then somewhere around midlife, we look sideways: she has the relationship, the house, the business, the money, looks younger, travels more. Her children are doing well. Her life appears sorted.
And suddenly our own life feels like a race we didn’t realise we were running.
But here’s the thing: You are not late, behind, or failing because your life unfolded differently from someone else’s.
There is no universal schedule for becoming yourself. Some things arrive early. Some arrive late. Some never arrive at all, and something completely unexpected takes their place.
Your life is not a delayed version of somebody else’s; it is yours. So today, if comparison starts whispering, come back to yourself by asking: What is actually true about my life right now?
Not what Instagram says, what you think you should have achieved, what someone else appears to have, but what is true?
Start there.
See you tomorrow for your next Midlife Edit ❤️

Episode 30: Embrace Your Season and Design a Life You Love
Life is a series of seasons - each one holding unique lessons, challenges, and opportunities. Yet in today’s fast-paced world, we often lose touch with this natural rhythm, striving for more while feeling less connected to ourselves.
If something I’ve written has made you pause, think, smile, or see your own life a little differently, and you’d like to send a little love back my way, you can buy me a Matcha Latte.
It helps me keep creating these little moments of reflection, encouragement, and possibility for you. And honestly, knowing that something I’ve written has landed with you is the loveliest support of all.
