Hi, 😊
Sometimes I think we underestimate what can happen after 40. We speak about midlife as though it is the closing chapter. But look at everything that can still happen.
You can fall in love. Change careers. Build a business. Travel somewhere you’ve never been. Make new friends. Learn to dance. Write the book. Move house. Start painting. Go back to school. Take up yoga. Become financially independent. Discover something about yourself you never knew.
You can become more yourself at 50 than you ever managed to be at 25.
There is time, but not infinite time, and perhaps that’s precisely what makes it precious.
We don’t need to postpone living because we assume there will always be another opportunity. But neither do we need to panic about everything we haven’t done; we simply need to participate.
So today, ask yourself: What is something I still want to experience?
Don’t judge the answer, or immediately turn it into a five-year plan. Just let yourself want it.
Sometimes desire is the first little flicker of a life calling you forward, and there is nothing wrong with answering.
See you tomorrow for your next Midlife Edit ❤️

The Journey to Self-Discovery: Embracing Your True Self
Not long ago, I sat on the edge of my bed, staring at the ceiling, asking myself a question that had quietly crept in: Who am I, really?
If something I’ve written has made you pause, think, smile, or see your own life a little differently, and you’d like to send a little love back my way, you can buy me a Matcha Latte.
It helps me keep creating these little moments of reflection, encouragement, and possibility for you. And honestly, knowing that something I’ve written has landed with you is the loveliest support of all.
