Hi, 😊
I think we sometimes save our attention for the dramatic moments: the holiday, birthday, big meeting, milestone, new beginning.
But most of life happens in between. In kitchens, cars, supermarkets, sofas, morning walks, phone calls, little errands, weekday dinners — the ordinary rhythm of being alive.
And perhaps there is something sacred about paying attention to that. Really tasting your food. Listening when someone tells you a story. Noticing the sky. Feeling the water on your skin. Taking the long way home. Laughing at something ridiculous. Watching the seasons change outside your window. These moments don’t look important while they’re happening, but one day, they become memories.
So today’s inspired action is to choose one ordinary moment and be completely there for it. No phone, multitasking, or mentally rehearsing what’s next.
Just this. Because your life isn’t only the big things; it is made almost entirely of these little moments, and they deserve to be lived.
See you tomorrow for your next Midlife Edit ❤️

I Am Not Just One Thing
Lately, I’ve been thinking about identity in the way you do when you’ve lived long enough to know that a single label can never hold the whole story.
If something I’ve written has made you pause, think, smile, or see your own life a little differently, and you’d like to send a little love back my way, you can buy me a Matcha Latte.
It helps me keep creating these little moments of reflection, encouragement, and possibility for you. And honestly, knowing that something I’ve written has landed with you is the loveliest support of all.
