Hi 😊,
We live in a culture that demands relentless, high-output summer energy twelve months of the year. We expect ourselves to have the same stamina, sociability, and drive in the dark, cold depths of November as we do in the long, bright days of June.
When our energy naturally dips in autumn and winter, we judge ourselves. We call it depression, laziness, or a loss of momentum. But winter is not a failed summer; it is the necessary season of depth, dormancy, and rest. Nothing in nature blooms year-round, and you are not required to either.
Today’s inspired action: Honor the natural season of the year. Give yourself permission to go to bed thirty minutes earlier tonight without guilt.
See you tomorrow for your next Midlife Edit ❤️

Planning Your Life the Way Nature Works
There was a time when I believed life was meant to move in straight lines: you set goals in January, you push forward, you stay consistent, you keep going.
