Hey Love,
Let’s be honest… when they said midlife was a time of wisdom, reinvention, and ease, they forgot to mention the exhaustion, the brain fog, the wild hormonal ride that makes you question everything.
I’ll admit it, I wasn’t prepared for how much my energy would shift in perimenopause. One moment I’d feel capable, focused, full of vision… the next? I couldn’t string a sentence together, my body ached, and I wanted to crawl under the covers.
I used to fight it. I’d push through the fatigue. Hustle harder. Pretend I could still operate like I did at 30.
But my body, wise as ever, kept whispering: “Love, there’s another way.”
My Raw Midlife Energy Story
It started gradually: sleep became elusive, my joints ached, and my moods were unpredictable. The high-achieving, always-on version of me panicked. I thought slowing down meant failure.
But menopause stripped away the illusions. It forced me to listen, to soften, to rebuild my relationship with my body, not as a machine, but as a sacred, evolving home.
Some days, I still resist. But more often now, I choose to honour her, my midlife body, exactly as she is.
