I love the idea that you call different things work. There are aspects of my work that are not enjoyable and many aspects that are. Renaming these allow me to put the tough ones in it’s own bucket, I wonder if that would allow more enjoyment of the majority that I love
I love the distinction between purpose, income, and rest. ❤️ That reminder that rest deserves a real place in our lives, not just whatever time happens to be left over, is something so many of us are still learning in midlife.
I love this distinction. We often think burnout means we’re doing too much, when sometimes it means we’ve stopped telling the difference between what drains us, what sustains us, and what gives us life. Those are not the same thing.
