Hey, Love. Every time I hear “build your dream life,” I feel a twitch, like life is something to chase or finally reach. But here’s the truth I’m leaning into these days:
Life isn’t a finish line. And in midlife, especially with perimenopausal shifts, our desires, needs, and dreams transform, too.
Dream life? It can feel like pressure. Like some ideal we should have by now. Instead, I want real life: unpredictable, evolving, soulful. I want a life rooted in who I am now, not who I wish I were.
So this is for us: Midlife women who’ve grown, felt, lost, found, and are still in motion. This is for the authentic life, not the dream life.
