I love this , there are many changes that can be daunting BUT if we embrace and honor those changes it really is a rebirth. I see it as an incredibly important crossroads, we have to opportunity to choose a healthier more vibrant path, our best opportunity to choose wisely
Thank you for this interview and article, it feels so validating and I'm understanding that listening to body is no longer an option, but also somehow a potential portal to rebirth.
A portal to rebirth, what a beautiful way to hold it.
And you're right, it stops being optional at a certain point. The body starts speaking louder, more insistently, until the only real choice is whether to listen willingly or wait until it demands it.
But when you do turn toward it, really listen, something opens. I think that's exactly what Allison was pointing to. So glad this one landed the way it did x
As a woman who experienced pre-menopause at 43, I can attest that 33 years later that period (no pun) is just a memory. Menopause is a time of loss. But we are resilient and adaptable.
Forty-three years on and still here, still resilient, still offering that perspective to women just entering the tunnel, that matters more than you know.
And yes, there is real loss in it. Naming that honestly matters. But you're living proof that what's on the other side can be spacious, full, and very much your own.
