A roundup like this lives or dies by the links behind it, and naming Dr. Louise Newson's explainers directly is a good sign of what's actually worth reading. Curious which one here you'd send first to someone who just found out perimenopause was even a possibility for them

I think I’d send them to The Ultimate Guide to How Perimenopause Affects Your Body first. If you’ve only just realised perimenopause might be what you’re experiencing, I think understanding the bigger picture of what can actually change in your body is a really helpful place to begin. Then you can dip into the more specific guides as questions and symptoms come up. That’s exactly why I wanted to bring everything together in one place x

That tracks, since a lot of the fear at that stage comes from not knowing what to expect overall rather than from any one symptom. Once that bigger picture is in place, the specific guides probably land differently too, more like confirmation of something already suspected than a fresh diagnosis to sit with alone.
