I think a lot of people subscribe to the notion that love will show up when they're ready. It's not always that neat and tidy. I started dating my partner - who is by far the best person I've ever shared my life with - right as his dad was dying, both of my hips were failing me, I got laid off, then my dad died, etc., etc. In fact, the right person is the one who stands firm with you through all of that, who chooses to lean on you or let you lean on him.

I love your openness to letting the universe bring you more opportunities, but reading between the lines, it seems like you really want to meet someone. If that's the case, there's no shame in going to a singles event once a month or asking friends if they know any single men. Being openly intentional about wanting love is not only ok, it's something to celebrate. Of course, I am professionally biased to think this way...😂
